Overview

N-acetyl Selank Amidate is a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, modified with acetylation and amidation to increase half-life and central nervous system activity. It is reported to exert anxiolytic and nootropic effects through modulation of enkephalin metabolism and influencing monoamine neurotransmitter systems without sedation or dependency.

Research Summary & Key Findings

Small clinical studies conducted in Russia have reported subjective improvements in anxiety and cognitive performance, but these lack the rigor and replication of international randomized trials. The compound is not approved by major Western regulatory agencies.
